Onyx
Restaurant
Central and Eastern Europe’s first two Michelin-starred restaurant has returned with a redefined, immersive 11-course dining experience, shaped in collaboration with architects, interior designers, and visual and video artists.

The evening begins in the era of the Industrial Revolution and concludes in the future—precisely in the year 3000—where a scientific, multidisciplinary fiction unfolds before the guests’ eyes.

The interior was conceptualized by the URBA team, with whom we co-developed a custom seating concept made from industrial-grade, 100% natural wool felt. The furniture set is partially constructed from felt remnants—offcuts generated during production processes such as trimming and cutting—and features pieces of varying thicknesses, from 3 mm to 20 mm.

The seat and backrest are made from specially produced, 5 mm thick, 100% natural wool felt. The sorted remnants were then cut into various shapes and sizes, glued and pressed a process realized in collaboration with Viaplant.
